transforming the lives we touch

Throughout our 50 year history, Robins’ Nest has grown from an organization serving children to a community based services powerhouse with over 70 programs and services that impact children, adults, families, veterans, caregivers, and the community at large. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in a healthy, happy, and safe environment, and that community members of any age, race, or religion have somewhere to turn to in their time of need. With our results-focused protocols and driven, experienced staff, Robins’ Nest is having a measurable impact on so many people, in so many ways throughout New Jersey.

We truly love our volunteers and appreciate the time and service that they give towards helping our children and families! At our Hearts for Robins’ Nest event in April, we will be honoring some of our dynamic volunteers, including Matt Jakubowski, a Producer for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. and a dedicated member of our Steering & Fundraising Committee for our annual fall event.

"When you walk into Robins’ Nest headquarters, you feel a positive energy that is tough to replicate. Many folks complain about the day to day challenges they face in the work world – at Robins’ Nest, staff encounter struggling children and families and are motivated to transform these lives. These are real challenges and seldom is there a complaint from staff.

Sadly, many children and families face adversity in life. Fortunately, Robins’ Nest is equipped with the people to provide the solutions to overcome adversity. Volunteering and supporting people that are willing to dedicate their lives, both personally and professionally, to solving these problems is truly humbling.”

In the aftermath of a tragedy, it is important to know how to speak to children when they come to you for guidance as they try to grapple with their feelings and emotions, many of which may be new to them. Our Counseling & Wellness Centers staff are trained in dealing with the after effects of a trauma.
