April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

Throughout National Child Abuse Prevention Month, we ask the community to recognize the importance of working together with families to prevent child abuse and neglect, and to promote the social and emotional well-being of children and families.

During the month of April and throughout the year, communities are encouraged to share child abuse and neglect prevention awareness strategies and activities and promote prevention across the state of New Jersey and the communities that we serve. Click HERE to visit our blog for a list of activities that you can participate in to help promote happy and healthy childhoods for those in our communities.

We all play an important role in the lives of children, and together, we can truly create better futures for today’s children so that they can grow and thrive into healthy and happy adults!
