Adolescent Mentoring

The Adolescent Mentoring program links adolescents and young adults that are involved with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency or ChildrenÂ’s System of Care with mentors who will serve as a positive role model and engage the adolescent in positive activities. The goal of this program is to form lifelong friendships between the youth and their mentor through bi-weekly contacts over the course of at least one year.

14 - 20

County Served

Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Salem

Length of Service

2-4 monthly contacts for at least a year.

Who Can Refer

Referrals are made through the Division of Child Protection and Permanency, ChildrenÂ’s System of Care, and local Case Management Organizations. Workers, parents, and legal guardians with an eligible youth can also refer for services.
