Strengthening Foster Children and Families

Strengthening Foster Children and Families provides in-home family and individual therapy for foster children and their resource families. Staff provides support, therapy and education to children with the goal of strengthening family functioning and stabilizing placements. Families receive weekly sessions with a PACS trained therapist.

Healthy Families

The Healthy Families program provides in-home education and supportive services to new and expectant parents. Home visitors work to link parents to existing social service and health care resources, and promote positive parenting and healthy child growth and development. The program typically lasts from pregnancy through the child’s 3rd birthday.

Family Ties

Family Ties provides supervised and progressive visitation for children in foster care and their parents. Visit coaches guide parents in meeting their children’s needs during weekly visits, with the goal of achieving reunification and permanency within 12 months. Therapists work with select parents and families to address needs related to their child’s permanency.

On My Own

The On My Own program provides aftercare services to youth who are aging out of the foster care system. Services within this program include training for employment seeking and retention, enabling youth to receive their high school diploma, counseling services on an individual or group basis, and assistance in obtaining independent housing.
